Eleonora’s falcon (Falco eleonorae), an Annex I species, EU Directive 2009/147/EC, breeds in Cyprus and feeds on insects during its pre-breeding period. We aim to study the effects of anthropogenic and climatic pressures on insect prey of Eleonora’s falcon, at feeding hotspots in SBAs and adjacent areas in Cyprus.
Biodiversity monitoring efforts aimed at identifying the migration patterns of Endangered sea turtles highlight the urgent need for global conservation.
