In August and September 2026, we are hosting three events as part of the Darwin Plus Stage 2 workshops, for Round 14 successful applicants that were invited through to Stage 2.
Webinar – Frequently Asked Questions
On Thursday 27th August, we hosted a webinar for applicants under Round 14 of Darwin Plus that were invited through to Stage 2. This webinar introduced Stage 2 applicants to some of the frequently asked questions and common issues relating to eligibility, finance, Flexi-Grant, communications, Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) and safeguarding requirements. Additionally, attendees had the opportunity to ask other questions.

Workshop – Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL)
On Tuesday 1 September, we will host an interactive Monitoring and Evaluation workshop for Stage 2 applicants. This session will focus on MEL, logframes, and Standard Indicators. It will combine presentations with interactive practical sessions to applicants in writing Stage 2 applications. This session will cover the use of project design tools and methods to ensure that logframes are as robust as possible through the inclusion of “SMART” indicators and appropriate means of verification.

Darwin Plus Advisory Group: What makes a good application?
On Thursday 3 September, we we will host a presentation with Colin Clubbe from the Darwin Plus Advisory Group (DPAG). This session will provide applicants with an insight into what DPAG looks for in an application through outlining the main assessment processes and providing tips on how to improve or strengthen Stage 2 applications.
