Summary

The Turks & Caicos Islands (TCI) have experienced intense tourism growth, yet have seldom balanced this with environmental conservation. To address this, the project aims to build capacity within the TCI Fly Fishing Association (TCFFA) by enabling a comprehensive guide certification, angler-led tagging research, and enhancing flats-fishing communications and marketing. Thus, the project will incentivize & enable conservation within the tourism sector, creating sustainable economic opportunities for locals and helping to position the TCI as a premier, eco-conscious flats-fishing destination.
