Summary
This project will first assess the feasibility and ecological impact of eradicating feral cats from Diego Garcia, Chagos Archipelago. If it is assessed as feasible and of ecological benefit, the project will produce an operational plan to eradicate feral cats from the island. The three studies will be passed to the island’s governing authority and interested organisations and, made open access on-line via the Chagos Information Portal (https://chip.chagos-trust.org/).
