Summary
The Duck Pond project will construct a 56m x 1.2m x 1.2m concrete waterway, on its 0.53-hectare plot; establish 325 vetiver plantlets along 200 metres fence line; create six, 25 metres terraces with 120 vetiver plantlets; develop a 380m² avian habitat incorporating endemic and national symbolic plants; participate in an overseas vetiver basketry training programme to reinvigorate a cottage industry that will preserve our cultural heritage; train a cadre of articulate conservation advocates that will promote the value of biodiversity.
