Summary
The Department of Environment & Coastal Resources aims to modernize its environmental monitoring techniques to answer new questions and respond to new threats tied to natural resource management. To meet this objective, this project will enable the capital purchase of a fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle specifically designed for high resolution surveying & mapping. In doing so, the DECR will build upon the work of previously funded projects leading towards biodiversity conservation, reduction of habitat degradation and promotion of coastal resilience.
