During reef surveys focused on SCTLD conducted between October 2021 and February 2023 Island Solutions documented healthy colonies of Acropora palmata and cervicornis within the Montserrat reef tract, including colonies in high water temperatures, extreme wave action and high solar exposure zones.This pilot project will collect samples from the healthy colonies of Acropora from the reef system and establish 2 nursery sites using restoration best practices to increase coral population while training the government dive team on these techniques.
