New Projects Workshops, April & May 2024

In April and May 2024, two events were hosted for new projects funded under Darwin Plus Round 12.

Webinar: Finance, administrative and technical reporting

On Thursday 25 April 2024, a webinar was held to provide guidance to new projects on finance, administrative and technical reporting for Darwin Plus and Darwin Initiative.

The aim of this webinar was to welcome newly funded projects, and provide advice and support relating to financial, administrative and technical reporting.

This webinar was open to anyone with an interest in understanding how their new project should be managed – Project Leaders, technical team members, finance and administrative staff. This event was open to all new Darwin Plus and Darwin Initiative projects.

Workshop: Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning 

On Thursday 9 May 2024, a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) workshop was held for new Darwin Initiative and Darwin Plus project's technical team members and Project Leaders.

The aim of this workshop was to provide new projects with the opportunity to consider their project’s monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) plans and understand what strong evidence is and how to capture it. This was achieved through presentations and group work exercises with other new projects.
