Summary
This project will respond to overwhelming demand from Cayman youth to participate in CCMI’s immersive learning experiences, providing a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to engage with nature and participate in active research, building capacity for science and conservation in Cayman. Unfortunately, these opportunities are financially unattainable for many Cayman households. This project will again offer funded placements on a marine biology and conservation course, also combined with shorter workshops on Grand Cayman to reach a broader audience for greater community impact.
