The area known as Goblin’s Head (1.5km2) is on the North Coast of East Falkland at Little Creek Farm. Much of the mainland coast has suffered from historic overgrazing; this project will plant native plants to redress erosion, reintroduce diversity and encourage wildlife. Goose repellent trials and new hare-proof fencing will deter predators from damaging young plants.
Biodiversity monitoring efforts aimed at identifying the migration patterns of Endangered sea turtles highlight the urgent need for global conservation.
