Summary

The Montserrat National Trust have selected the most threatened native trees on island , namely, red cedar, white cedar, mangroves (white, black and red), and Lignum Vitae to regenerate positive production through improvement in healthy propagation practices thereby restoring, plants affected by over exploitation, development and disease. Through experiments the plants will be cultivated in various habitats to determine their survival in nature in an attempt to increase their numbers once seedlings survives the propagation stage.
