There is limited information available to the public in Cyprus and in the western sovereign base areas (Episkopi and Akrotiri) on the best practice's to maintain and look after hedgehogs found in gardens and local areas. The project will collaborate with the local community to bridge this knowledge gap. There will also be a pilot survey to monitor individual hedgehogs to evaluate the effects of supplementary feeding over a 6-month period as well as a summer tunnel monitoring program.
