The Turks and Caicos Reef Fund (TCRF) is the country’s only environmental advocacy NGO. TCRF is responsible for mooring installation (drilling) and maintenance as well as actively involved in multiple coral research projects including in-situ coral nurseries and stony coral tissue loss disease. The Reefsaver is a 30ft 1998 Island Hopper, purchased in 2016, and Darwin funds will support the full restoration and engine overhaul needed to get the vessel running smoothly and efficiently for another 10+ years.
