Chair of the Darwin Plus Advisory Group, Howard Nelson, shared the following:

“The Darwin Plus programme provides critical support for biodiversity conservation action within the UK Overseas Territories, empowering local stakeholders and their collaborators to protect and restore the amazing natural heritage in the UK Overseas Territories. This year’s applications to the challenge fund, proposed a great diversity of approaches and innovative ideas for addressing the biodiversity challenges facing the UK Overseas Territories, and we are very excited to see the implementation of this year’s successful projects.”

The team at the Biodiversity Challenge Funds would like to extend a huge congratulations to all newly awarded projects – we look forward to seeing your progress!
